Laura & Adam's Wedding, Rock City Falls, NY

Excited to post this wedding. When the couple told us they were getting married in Rock City Falls at the Mansion Inn, I won’t lie and tell ya I’ve never heard of the place. We’ve shot at numerous venues over the years and this was our first time at the Masnion Inn. Being a new venue for us, there is always apprehension as to what is available to use for great shots. Well let me tell you, we’ve never been more pleased. The Mansion Inn was BEAUTIFUL and Laura and Adam really had a knack for knowing exactly what they wanted and how they wanted their wedding to look.

Lori from the Mansion Inn was super accomodating as the ladies got ready within the mansion itself, and Adam got ready in the cottage on premises. We got some KILLER shots of Laura in her gown within some of the parlors. The fabulous Lipstick and Lashes team did a wondrous job on Laura and her girls, making them flawless for our cameras. Laura’s stunning dress was from Jacqueline’s Bridal Shoppe in Glens Falls and the floral arrangements were done beautifully by Dehn’s Florist out of Saratoga.

Adam and his guys were having some fun in the cottage when we arrived; listening to some tunes and getting dressed. Adam was seriously cool, calm, and collected for the big day.

The ceremony was conducted by one of our favorite officiants; Robyn Posson, and was held in a rustic barn on the property. Even though there was a crisp chill in the air, the fall colors were glorious and the wedding party colors truly popped.

The reception was held under a heated tent on the mansion’s back deck where DJ Derick from Encore Productions played some great oldies for people to dance to. Laura and Adam are old souls and love this music genre. I swear, every song played was one everyone could sing along to. Great details were found throughout the day like little hand made signs, a tree where guests found they place cards, and each table was named after a natural spring since the couple have recently decided to settle in the Saratoga area.

This was absolutely a beautiful wedding. Congrats again to Laura and Adam! You two were such a pleasure to work with and made our job easy for the entire day. We wish you much happiness in your future!
