Erin and Rocco are a super fun couple from our old stomping grounds of Columbia County. After doing their Engagement Shoot with them, we knew their personalities along with ours would make for a great wedding day.
Erin and Rocco were married at the Albany Country Club on what was expected to be a clear day. Erin got ready right on premises and Destiny from NVious Hair & Makeup did her magic in making Erin absolutely breathtaking. The weather was at one moment sunny and one moment dark, but we were able to get outside for various shots. Rocco arrived via limo and our buddy Kenny from ACC pinned on the boutineers to make the guys’ attire complete.
Low and behold, many dark clouds eventually surrounded the golf course and the official lightning siren went off at one point to signal golfers to leave the course. Everyone from the guests to the anxious bride were hoping it would just hold off till after the ceremony. The ceremony was scheduled for the outdoor patio. ACC’s wedding coordinator, Kim Aperance kept a close eye on the forecast and they decided to forge ahead with the outdoor ceremony. It was a good choice because within minutes of starting the ceremony, the “all clear” notification sounded.
The couple’s reception was held in the ACC ballroom and DJs Fernando Bustamante and Steve Gordon from Conway Entertainment lit the room with their beautiful purple up-lighting and added the couple’s initials projected on the wall. The party was so lively that I don’t think there was one second that the dance floor was not full. Guests had fun making memories in ACC’s photo booth and we heard people rave about the floral centerpieces done by the Floral Garden.
Even though the weather was a little up in the air throughout the day, Erin and Rocco truly had a beautiful day. Surrounded by loved ones, they made their commitment to each other and had the party of their lives. We wish them all the best in their married future together.
