Elisabeth and Phil met at a gym that they were both members of.  They kept seeing each other off and on there, and Phil eventually asked Elisabeth out on a date.  It took Elisabeth a little while to finally agreed.  When they went on their first date, they hit it off immediately. 

Fun story how Phil proposed to Elisabeth: Meghan used to work with Elisabeth’s mom, and back in April 2017, Meg took a trip to Ireland.  In August of 2017, Elisabeth’s family was planning the same exact trip that Meghan went on and Laura (Lis’ mom) called Meghan and asked some advice for the trip and about the experience.  After the family went on the trip, Laura told Meghan how her daughter’s boyfriend (being Phil) proposed on the trip.  Meghan knew exactly the place.  Phil proposed to Elisabeth in Ireland on their day to the Ring of Kerry.  We met the couple up in Sacandaga Lake where they camp during the summer with their dog.  The weather was truly summery and the lake looked gorgeous.  We are looking forward to shooting their wedding later this year in October at the Pruyn House.
