Brittany and Drew got married on what turned out to be a VERY rainy day. I don’t mean a sprinkle, it literally down poured for the majority of the day. They had planned to get married on the terrace at the Holiday Inn Express in Latham, but had to change plans to move indoors. It is a good thing that they planned their day out in full detail, cause they had decided to do a first look and most of their pictures prior to the ceremony. First looks can be a great alternative to the traditional seeing the Bride at the alter for those who may want to go this route. In their case it worked out, cause after the first look, we all hopped in a stretched limo and headed to Congress Park for photos. Funny enough, it rained the whole ride there, but seemed to be a break just above the park. We got in some great photos and headed back to Latham where the two were married in the hotel’s huge ballroom, and then guests moved over to the Gazebo room for the reception. Brittany and Drew have two little ones who were beyond perfect the entire day. From helping their mom and dad get dressed, to having their own special dance during the reception, these two were great! Brittany and Drew, thanks for choosing KHP to share your day. We absolutely loved spending time with you and your beautiful family! Next up, family session, right? 😉
