Amanda & Tim, October 1, 2016, Franklin Terrace Ballroom, Troy, NY
Amanda and Tim’s wedding day went off without a hitch. I say this because the day ran so fluid. We spent the day with these two at their venue; Franklin Terrace in Troy, where Charles Sandercox and his team go above and beyond to make their couple’s day run smooth. We greeted Amanda getting the final touches of hair and makeup in the Bridal Suite and Tim and his guys congregated by the bar to await the first look. It was a slightly cool Autumn day and we were able to shoot most images outdoors with a few fall colors starting to peek out on the trees. The First Look took place on the outdoor terrace and their smiles came out once they saw each other. The ceremony was held inside in front of around 130 guests. Cocktail hour followed and is always wonderful at any Franklin property. We always joke that it is like your first course of your meal because they offer so much. The grand ballroom was decked out in hues of blue and neat sphere-like lanterns hung from the ceiling. It was just such a nice day all around!
Amanda and Tim, thank you for letting us spend your day with you. You both joked that you didn’t like getting your picture taken, but we think you both did a fabulous job and look so great in your images. We wish you both all the best. Say hi to your doggies for us!!!
