Amanda and Mark met at the St. Anthony’s Fest in Schenectady, NY.  Amanda was with a friend when they ran into Mark (who happened to work with the friend’s boyfriend).  Later that night, Mark texted the friend asking about Amanda and they set up a time for the two to meet and hang out.  Funny enough, that friend and boyfriend are Hitlin Wedding Alumni, Heather & Joe.  Mark proposed to Amanda during a trip to the Sagamore to visit the Ice Bar.  Mark pretended to take a picture of Amanda among the ice sculptures.  Mark made a quick move and Amanda thought he was slipping on ice.  In actuality, he was bending down on one knee to propose.  This couple enjoys trying new places to go out together, bike riding in the summer and traveling.  We captured their engagement session on a beautiful evening in Schenectady’s rose garden, even getting a few with their dog and then venturing over to the Stockade and Riverside park for the setting sun.  We are looking forward to capturing their big day in August 2018 at Mohawk River Country Club & Chateau.
